Six years ago, a few of us - parents, singles and shadchanim - sat together and said what so many people were already feeling: Things couldn’t keep going on like this.
The waiting. The phone calls. The “did anyone think of me?” The pressure. The stress. The time passing by. And the sense of being dependent on others for your own future.
So we decided to change it. And we did - the Shidduch List was borne!
We started simply - paper and pen, and Excel sheets - just trying to create a more organized, respectful way for people to be seen and for shidduchim to move forward. And then something happened: it worked.
And B"H, hundreds have found their match through the Shidduch List.
People had more opportunities, the process became clearer, and the stress went down. The waiting game was over. All while you being in control of your own shidduch journey.
As the Shidduch List grew, we wanted to make it available to much more people and set up this platform - while keeping the same mission we started with: make shidduchim easier, more accessible, and less stressful, and put you in control.
